Virtual Fighter has been, a classic Arcade style fighting game since the early 90s. It was definitely a hit in the Arcades, and on the Sega Saturn as well.

That being said, Virtual Fighter is such a unique fighting game in which, it separates it from all the other classics in its genre. And when it comes to fighting games, it's definitely between Tekken and Virtual Fighter that stays true to their Arcade style mechanics. But in regards to the Virtual Fighter series, VF:5 is a fantastic game, but I personally like VF:4 the best in my opinion.
