Hello all: So I was fiddling around on my laptop and somehow (by accident) made an active desktop, showing Windows Explorer, with an empty folder and the usual list of options on the left (new folder, copy folder to, move folder to, etc). I couldn't figure out how to take it off. I did go to display properties and checked the active desktop properties, to no avail. So I restart my laptop and the active desktop was gone and my usual desktop is shown. But, I noticed that directly on C: was a file named PDOXUSRS.NET.

I looked online to find out what it was all about, but I keep seeing widely different explanations. So can someone here help me understand what this file is all about? Any help is very much appreciated! I don't think this is bad.. But let's check just to be safe. Please make sure that you can view all hidden files.
